Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be released on the 28th of October, and Warzone 2.0 will be dropped on the 16th of November. We got the first look at Warzone 2.0 gameplay at COD Next, which revealed many Improvements that will be coming to the second part of the battle royal.

The notable improvements will include the updated shop system, 2v2 Gulag that will consist of AI enemies and AI boss ‘The Jailer’ with which you can interact now. On top of that, you can hang from ledges and fire with a sidearm and even dive to the ground straight into prone.  You can also start a gunfight underwater thanks to the addition of mechanics like diving and swimming. In addition, stronghold points will be protected by AI soldiers containing good loot and rare load-outs.

Warzone 2.0 Maps

Warzone 2.0 will feature the biggest Call of Duty Battle Royal map yet called Al Mazrah, which will be expanded up to 18 POI locations:

The second question after the reveal of the main map that comes to fans’ minds is, ‘What about Resurgence maps?’ and no doubt that’s a valid question as maps like Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island made the experience fun and unique in Warzone 1.0 with their fast-paced play style and shorter games than traditional full-scale maps.  Unfortunately, according to the news, only Caldera will be making a comeback in Warzone 2.0, and there are no signs of Fortune’s Keep or Rebirth Island coming to the new battle royal. However, according to a reliable Call of Duty insider, @TheGhostOfHope, there’s something better to look at; an all-new resurgence map for Warzone 2.0 that will be a collaborative effort of Beenox, Toys for Bob, Infinity Ward and Raven.
